Tomorrow we will be running Wednesday's schedule for Winter Carnival which means:

Plaid or Camo day; plus Gr. 8 Class Challenge (period 4) and Grade 6 Class Challenge (period 5)

We are working on rescheduling Thursday and Friday's activities.

Boys Group

Boys Group will be starting at the Thomas Raddall Library on February 19th from 3-4pm.  Those boys who are interested in attending should sign up in the office before Wednesday.  If you have any questions please contact Ms Thorburn at the school.

WINTER CARNIVAL: Feb 10-14

Monday – PJ Day and Period 5 Kickoff Assembly

 

Tuesday – Wacky Hair Day; plus Gr. 7 Class Challenge (period 5) 

 

Wednesday – Plaid or Camo day; plus Gr. 8 Class Challenge (period 4) and Gr. 6 Class Challenge (period 5)

Also Early Dismissal Day (Students dismissed at 12:55pm)

 

Thursday – Jersey Day or School Colors Day and Queens Place activities in the afternoon (permissiom forms will be sent home on Monday- please return signed ASAP)

SQMS Dance from 7 to 9 pm

 

Queens Place Activity Choices

Skating – 11:45 to 12:35 (arena)

Scavenger Hunt –11:45 to when they finish (on the grounds)

Sledding (weather dependent) – 11:45 to 2 (on the hill)

Card making – 11:45 to 2 or when they finish  (Community Room)

SQMS hockey game vs. Hebbville at 12:45 pm

 

Friday – Free Hat Day and African Heritage Day themed activity afternoon:

African Dancing, African Art and Black Loyalist Heritage

 

**Students are expected to be at school each day; regular classes will be taking place in the morning**

Happening This Week:

Monday: Ugly Sweater Day/PJ Day

Tuesday - Red and Green Day ​(wear clothing that is red and/or green)

Wednesday - Extra Hat Day (Hat Day will also be Friday)

Thursday - Variety show (period 3); SQMS Hockey Game at Queens Place (students will leave the school around noon and return to school at 2pm- permission forms are being sent home today); Dance at 7pm

Friday - Volleyball Tournament (students and staff) and theme rooms (i.e.. movie room, games room, art room, etc).

There will be NO CAFETERIA SERVICE on Friday. We are arranging pizza for lunch on Friday; students will able to order pizza for $3 per slice. Pre-ordering will be happening on Thursday.
